Even though he doesn’t work in games anymore, I hope he’s proud knowing that there are people who really love the work he made back in the day, enough that they’ll replay it over a decade later just for fun. I hope he’s out there living his best life because it’s what he deserves after gracing us with this masterpiece. He didn’t respond, but you know what, I’m glad he didn’t. I even tried to reach out to the director of this game, Phil Drinkwater, just to get a sense of how he feels about it after all of these years. A few of the games that are available to play are in beta testing and have demos available. However, they are supposedly going to be available to play this year. I get the sense that they were really trying to make something that kids would enjoy, and they passed that test with flying colors. Not all the games are available right now. I have to give it to the game designers, though - when I was playing, I never felt like they phoned it in. There are a few additions to make the game more challenging, like different puzzles, mazes, and set pieces, but after the gimmick wore off it just made it more time-consuming for me, not more fun. All of that to say, once I got past the point that I remembered, I was really struggling.
